Every family is both the same and different - your rhythms, quirks, and traditions are what makes yours special and unique.

When we first get in touch, I’ll ask you questions about routines, favorite activities, and how you spend your quiet time.  I love running behind kids, laughing along with them as much as sensitively capturing quiet moments. I can be there from the first cup of coffee until the last person is in pajamas.

I won’t show up with backdrops, props, or a lot of fanfare. I’m a warm, easy-going presence who’s playful with both people and animals. On arrival, I’ll hang out while everyone gets accustomed to having me around with my cameras. Your family’s energy and rhythm will organically settle and then I’ll start to capture all the lovely, messy, ordinary moments that happen. There’s never any pressure for anyone to behave or pose! There is always time for wardrobe changes and posed, formal pictures.
